The City of Horicon is seeking a highly motivated and friendly addition to the City Clerk's Office. We are accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant who will be one of the first points of contact at City Hall. Primary responsibilities include: customer service (counter and phone), cashier duties, accounts receivable, administrative support for the Clerk's Office as well as multiple other City Departments, and utility billing.
Candidates must be detail oriented and possess excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and multitask in an ever-changing environment. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma and an Associate Degree in an Administrative or related field, or a minimum of three years' experience in local government or business. This position requires the ability to learn computerized systems utilized by the City of Horicon.
