The WISCONSIN DEPT OF NATURAL RESOURCES has placed an order for all real wreaths, swags and décor made of living holiday greenery to be placed in trash bags and disposed of in the trash.  This order does not effect real Christmas trees which may still be placed curbside for disposal.  The décor mentioned may have been imported from another state and could potentially be infested with Elongated Hemlock Scale Insects which can emerge and cause damage to forests and native trees in WI.  Please follow the precautionary measure as requested.  More information may be found at https://datcp.wi.gov/Pages/NewsMedia/EHSDecorations.aspx
